This Review Explains Why ScanGuard is a Scam
THE ONLY TOOL I USE AND RECOMMEND TO SPEED UP
Since September 2016, ScanGuard has taken the internet by storm. The “Scanguard” keyword has skyrocketed in popularity within Google:
Everyone is searching Google for more information and reviews on ScanGuard:
- Is ScanGuard Safe?
- Is ScanGuard a Scam?
- Is ScanGuard Malware?
- Is ScanGuard a Virus
I thought I would take a look into ScanGuard and give it a thorough background check before recommending it to anyone. What I found was shocking! Continue reading and see the top 3 critical reasons to avoid scanguard today and why I would never recommend it to anyone, not even my worst enemy!
1. ScanGuard is NOT an A+ BBB.org Certified Business
If you are not familiar with the BBB.org or Better Business Bureau then what they do is essentially provide an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers trust each other and conduct business online. If a business is not found on their database without being certified then highly likely they is simply not trustworthy. However an accredited & certified business is a business that is committed to making a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.
I searched the BBB.org website using the following keywords “scanguard”, “scan guard” and “scanguard.com” and with every search Scanguard was not found and returned negative results.
The ScanGuard website also does not feature a BBB.org logo and there is no link to their accredited business page on BBB.org either.
Avoid conducting business with ScanGuard or any other business online which is not certified by BBB.org. Businesses which are not BBB.org certified tend to be scams because they simply do not provide refunds or any forms of customer service.
2. ScanGuard is NOT a Verified Microsoft Gold Partner
I wouldn’t install software onto my Windows machine unless it is verified and certified by Microsoft by being an official gold partner. Verified Microsoft partners are people and businesses you can trust and guarantee they will still be in business tomorrow when you wake up. Software or a business that is not verified and certified by Microsoft are highly likely simply fly-by-night companies that won’t exist before you know it.
I searched the partnerpoint.com website using the following keywords “scanguard”, “scan guard” and “scanguard.com” and with every search Scanguard was not found and returned negative results.
The ScanGuard website also does not mention anywhere on its website that it is a Microsoft partner.
Avoid conducting business with ScanGuard or any other business online which are not a certified Microsoft partner.
3. ScanGuard is Not Certified by McAfee Secure
The internet is full of malware and all sorts of viruses and most of these end up on your computer because you recently download a free trial or a free version of some software that got your attention took your interest.
The best way to avoid this is to check before you download anything whether the website you are about to download from is certified and trusted by McAfee Secure. This way you are 100% confident that anything downloaded will in actual fact be 100% virus, malware and Trojan free.
I searched the mcafeesecure.com website for “scanguard.com” and Scanguard was not found and resulted in an un-secure & not certified website.
Final Thoughts on ScanGuard
Scanguard has my alarm bells ringing and so should yours. I would highly recommend avoiding ScanGuard at all cost and I personally do not recommend it. The company behind ScanGuard is not trustworthy due to not meeting essential criteria from various trustworthy online authorities.
If you are after a great computer system optimiser that is BBB.org certified, verified by Microsoft and McAfee then I highly use and recommend PC Health Advisor to return your computer’s performance to when it was brand new.
